About this project
HandsOn NWN is hosting a disaster preparedness kit making event on September 11, 2026 to honor the victims, survivors, and heroes of 9/11. The event will take place at the Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness, located at 114 W 30th St., Winston Salem, NC 27105. Volunteers will help assemble kits for the Red Cross, then take part in a reflection on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Morning and afternoon volunteer shifts are available.
