About this project
Join Granite United Way and the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery on Friday, September 11, for a volunteer beautification project in Boscawen as part of the 9/11 National Day of Service & Remembrance. Together, community and corporate volunteers will honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, by serving those who have served our country and helping care for one of New Hampshire's most meaningful places of remembrance. Volunteers will assist with outdoor beautification projects throughout the cemetery, helping ensure the grounds remain a peaceful, dignified final resting place for veterans and their eligible dependents. Through service, we can transform a day of remembrance into a day of compassion, unity, and gratitude. What to Bring: Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and dress appropriately for working outdoors. Please bring gardening gloves and any yard tools you are able to share, as on-site supplies are limited. Whether you volunteer as an individual or with a team, your time and effort will make a lasting impact while honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans.
